Financial advisors and planners are a dime a dozen. Here at Impact Wealth Management we focus on serving physicians beginning in residency, working through their careers, and all throughout your retirement.
Over the 10+ years spent caring for my mom who had a TBI and several other health problems, I spent a lot of time with physicians and nurses. In that time, I learned a lot of the struggles you have including overwhelming student loan debt, protecting your hard earned assets, finding a trustworthy advisor who has your best interests at heart, learning to run your own practice as a business, and more.
Now I have the privilege of working with nurses and physicians to create financial plans that help you eliminate debt, build real wealth, and leave an impactful legacy.
Do you give a diagnosis before doing a thorough exam? Of course not. You ask about the patients' current situation, review their chart, and create a plan to treat them based on the information you've gathered as well as your knowledge and experience.
We believe that in order to best serve our clients, we must first examine your current financial situation, review your financial "chart," and discuss your goals. Then we can create your plan with a specialized plan of care and appropriate interventions. This allows you to focus on healthcare while we focus on your wealthcare.
When you're working with a patient, do you speak with them using complicated medical jargon? No, instead you provide succinct, actionable, and easy to understand information so they feel comfortable and confident in your care. You should be able to expect the same from your financial planner.
At Impact Wealth Management and Financial Planning we deliver a well-constructed, custom financial plan to you as well as clear, actionable next steps to best help you attain your goals.
Just as you take your hippocratic oath seriously, so do we take our fiduciary duty. A fiduciary advisor is a financial professional who is legally and ethically bound to act in the interests of their clients. Fiduciary advisors must prioritize the needs of their clients above their own needs.
The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification is the standard of excellence for financial planners. CFP® professionals take a holistic, personalized approach to bring all the pieces of your financial life together. Planning includes budgeting and savings, debt management, risk management, as well as estate and tax planning..
Before anyone can call themselves a CFP® professional, they must meet rigorous education, examination, experience and ethical requirements. They are rigorously trained in 72 areas of financial expertise and must accrue thousands of hours of experience prior to earning their certification.
As part of the CFP® certification, CFP® professionals have met extensive training and experience requirements and also have made a commitment to CFP Board to act as a fiduciary when providing financial advice to a client. This means we have agreed to put your best interests first.
The Certified Student Loan Professional designation is a professional education program and specialty designation in student loan advising and planning. The program was created because traditional financial designations such as the CFP® and CPA do not address the mechanics of student loan programs and repayment planning.
CSLP® advisors can help you evaluate your best course of action based on your financial needs, budget, and goals. Having a well crafted and executed plan is essential for everyone. A CSLP® can help you create a plan and manage changes as needed. Regular reviews are important as it could be your largest debt. A CSLP® is a valuable partner in your financial health. Just as you have a trusted healthcare provider, a financial advisor who understands student loans is a key partner in your overall financial health.

Beginning my career as a Financial Advisor in 2010 I have continued to advance my education over the years. Most notably, earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
Soon after graduating from Kent State University, I began caring for my mom and continued to do so until her passing in 2022. She had a TBI and several other health problems that required someone to advocate for her and manage her care. We spent a lot of time in doctors' offices and hospitals and formed wonderful relationships with the physicians and staff.
Throughout the years of working with medical professionals, I began to realize that I not only wanted to give back to those who helped her, but also that we worked well together. I decided to focus my practice on working with nurses and physicians and have been helping medical professionals eliminate debt, build real wealth, and leave an impactful legacy ever since.

Two weeks after graduation, I married my college sweetheart. We settled down in Portage Lakes, Ohio and now have two daughters. We are members of Maranatha Bible Church and love serving and worshiping with our church family. I also enjoy snowboarding in the winter, traveling with our family, and watching our girls compete in Irish Dance.
Giving back and serving are very important to me. I have served on the board for Kent State University Stark County Alumni and volunteer with Maranatha Bible Church, Girl Scouts of America, the Cleveland Angels, and Sufficient Grace Ministries.
Additionally, I am a huge book nerd! I love reading everything from historical fiction to sci-fi to non-fiction. I'm deeply enamored with learning and I love this quote by Alexander Pope in "An Essay on Criticism" (1711): A little learning is a dangerous thing; Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring: There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain, And drinking largely sobers us again.
